What is it?
Bentonite is packed full of minerals like Silica, Calcium, Potassium, Iron, Sodium and Magnesium.

Once combined with water, bentonite has an enormous surface area that stretches open like a highly porous sponge. The toxins are drawn into these spaces and then eliminated.

How does it do that?
"Clay has a negative electrical attraction for particles that are positively charged.  Most of the toxic poisons are positively charged.

These toxins are irresistibly drawn towards the clay. The very minuteness of the particles of Bentonite gives a large surface area in proportion to the volume used, thus enabling it to pick up many times its weight in positively charged particles."

"Bentonite can absorb pathogenic viruses, aflatoxin (a mold), and pesticides and herbicides including Paraquat and Roundup. The clay is eventually eliminated from the body with the toxins bound to its multiple surfaces."

Sodium- 2.3%
Magnesium- 1.7%

Clays and Clay Minerals

Bentonite has a high percentage of naturally occurring silica and iron than most other naturally occurring clays.
Silica & Iron deficiency may lead to:
• Skin becoming loose and dehydrated
• Lack lustre hair
• Poor bone development
• Brittle nails

Effective and powerful when topically applied as a poultice, used on naturally curly Afro as a hair mask, face and body mud pack, sprinkled in the bath, and/or to reduce swelling.

Bentonite deposits can be found all over the globe but the largest concentrations are located in the Great Plains area of North America & the mountains of Italy. Bentonite is derived from the deposits of weathered volcanic ash. Bentonite is purported to be an effective natural intestinal detoxifying agent that has been used for centuries by native peoples around the world.

Prep time: 20 mins
Total time required for treatment: 45 min to an hour

Equipment:
Strips of clean thin towels or sheets

Body wraps are messy so the best place to take the wrap is in the bath tub.

Suggestion:
Have a warm shower before applying the body wrap as this will open your pores.

Instructions:
1. Take 473ml (2 cups) of hot Spring or Distilled water or an infusion of Apple Cider Vinegar and Organic Chamomile Flowers.
2. Add 59ml (1/4 cup) of Dead Sea Salt (Skin  tonic, detoxifying, nutrient enriched) and stir until the salt is dissolved.
3. Add 236 grams (1 cup) of Bentonite clay

It's important to keep warm, if your bathroom is a little chilly wrap yourself in a washable blanket lay in an empty bath and relax for at least 60 minutes.
After 60 minutes - rinse off in a warm shower. Your who body will tingle with delightful softness.
